Gary Byrd
Mr. Byrd is President and CEO of Pratt Financial Services, the U.S. investment affiliate of the Pratt family-owned multinational packaging company. Mr. Byrd oversees the firm’s private equity investments, which are predominately in the financial services arena.
Having been with the Pratt family for 20 years, Mr. Byrd has served as Director of Acquisitions, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Executive Officer of the manufacturing business prior to founding Pratt Financial.
Mr. Byrd was an investment banker with Security Pacific Bank in Los Angeles before joining the Pratt organization. He holds a Bachelors of Business Administration from the College of William and Mary and a Masters of Business Administration from U.C.L.A.
Serving on the boards of numerous portfolio companies, Mr. Byrd also is a director of Pratt Industries (USA) and Visy Industries (Australia).
