R. Lee Burrows

Mr. Burrows is a Director of Pratt Financial Services, the U.S. investment affiliate of the Pratt family-owned multinational packaging company.  Mr. Burrows assists with all aspects of PFS, particularly investment decisions for the firm's private equity fund, which specializes in community banks.

Mr. Burrows started his career in 1983 at Trident Securities Inc., an investment bank focused exclusively on the financial services sector.  He later became a co-owner and Managing Director.  In this capacity, Mr. Burrows focused on nationwide capital raising initiatives for community banks and bank mergers and acquisitions.  This focus resulted in more than 150 banking relationships in which Trident was retained to raise capital or negotiate M&A.  Trident was sold to McDonald Investments in 1999; Mr. Burrows remained on as President until 2003.

Mr. Burrows is Chairman of little bank inc., a Kinston, NC-based bank he helped to found in 1998.  He also serves on the board at MagnetBank and Burke Capital Group, an Atlanta-based investment bank serving financial institutions.  Mr. Burrows has served as a director of PFS since 2004.

Mr. Burrows holds a Bachelors Degree from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and a Masters of Business Administration from Emory University.
